Does God care what you want?
Last night we flipped the TV channel and a certain man was discussing "OUR
FATHER'S" word, one of the psalms, I forget which. Anyway, he made the statement that
we have to do the Father's will and that the Father DOESN'T CARE what we want. I said to
my hubby, WHOA my Bible says that if we delight ourselves in Him He will give us the
desires of OUR HEARTS [Psalm 37:4], and that if we believe, we shall have what WE want
[John 15:7]. And if we ask the Father for bread, He won't give us a stone [Matthew
7:7-11]! Sounds like to me He cares VERY much what we want, like any true father would.
Now of course He often says "NO" because what we want is bad for us, but He DOES
CARE what we want!
