Walking by Faith, Not Feelings

The Question:

What can I do about this feeling that I’m not pleasing God? I am a Christian, but I don't feel like I'm living the kind of life that God wants me to. It's not like I rebel against Him, but I guess I really don't feel any different. I'm just going about like I did before. Does anyone else feel this way? If so, what can I do? I would appreciate any advice or encouragement.

The Answer:

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We walk by faith, not by sight (feelings). The times we DON'T feel the presence of God are often times of great growth. Sometimes we're walking by faith and don't even realize it! So keep on keeping on - be encouraged in the Lord. Read the Word, pray the Word, meditate the Word and LISTEN... for that still, small voice. Whether you feel like it or not, still praise the Lord ... and eventually your feelings will line up with your faith.
