Hell originally created for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41
"Then he will say to those on his left,
`Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the
eternal fire prepared for the devil and his
angels.'"
2 Peter 2:4
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned,
but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy
dungeons to be held for judgment;
Jude 1:6
And the angels who did not keep their positions
of authority but abandoned their own home--these
he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting
chains for judgment on the great Day.

The
tree of life Genesis
2:8-9
Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the
east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had
formed. And the LORD God made all kinds of trees
grow out of the ground--trees that were pleasing
to the eye and good for food. In the middle of
the garden were the tree of life and the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 3:22, 24
And the LORD God said, "The man has now
become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He
must not be allowed to reach out his hand and
take also from the tree of life and eat, and live
forever."...After he drove the man out, he
placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden
cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and
forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
Revelation 2:7
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I
will give the right to eat from the tree of life,
which is in the paradise of God.

Man's disobedience Genesis 3:6-7
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was
good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also
desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and
ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who
was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of
both of them were opened, and they realized they
were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and
made coverings for themselves.
Romans 5:12a, 18a
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through
one man, and death through sin, and in this way
death came to all men... through the disobedience
of the one man the many were made sinners

satan's
lie Genesis3:4-5
"You will not surely die," the serpent
said to the woman. "For God knows that when
you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you
will be like God, knowing good and evil."
Proverbs 30:6
Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you
and prove you a liar.
John 8:44
"You belong to your father, the devil, and
you want to carry out your father's desire. He
was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to
the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he
lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a
liar and the father of lies."
1 John 2:22
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that
Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the
antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.

Why
God allows man to
be tempted Deuteronomy
8:2
Remember how the LORD your God led you all the
way in the desert these forty years, to humble
you and to test you in order to know what was in
your heart, whether or not you would keep his
commands.
Deuteronomy 13:3b
... The LORD your God is testing you to find out
whether you love him with all your heart and with
all your soul.
James 1:2-4, 12
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you
face trials of many kinds, because you know that
the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
Perseverance must finish its work so that you may
be mature and complete, not lacking
anything...Blessed is the man who perseveres
under trial, because when he has stood the test,
he will receive the crown of life that God has
promised to those who love him.
1 Peter 1:6-7
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a
little while you may have had to suffer grief in
all kinds of trials. These have come so that your
faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes
even though refined by fire--may be proved
genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor
when Jesus Christ is revealed.

It's
your choice Joshua
24:15
"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable
to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom
you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers
served beyond the River, or the gods of the
Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as
for me and my household, we will serve the
LORD."
Deuteronomy 30:19-20
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses
against you that I have set before you life and
death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so
that you and your children may live and that you
may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice,
and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life,
and he will give you many years in the land he
swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob.
1 Kings 18:21
Elijah went before the people and said, "How
long will you waver between two opinions? If the
LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God,
follow him." But the people said nothing.
Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the other; or else he will
hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot
serve God and mammon (god of money).

God's
Plan Psalms 33:11
But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the
purposes of his heart through all generations.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,"
declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a
future."
Amos 3:7
Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without
revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
Ephesians 1:9-12
And he made known to us the mystery of his will
according to his good pleasure, which he purposed
in Christ, to be put into effect when the times
will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all
things in heaven and on earth together under one
head, even Christ. In him we were also chosen,
having been predestined according to the plan of
him who works out everything in conformity with
the purpose of his will, in order that we, who
were the first to hope in Christ, might be for
the praise of his glory.

The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and
his wife and clothed them.

You forgave the iniquity of your people and
covered all their sins.
Romans 4:7-8
"Blessed are they whose transgressions are
forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the
man whose sin the Lord will never count against
him."

Jesus'
Mission Romans
1:2-4
...the gospel he promised beforehand through his
prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his
Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant
of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness
was declared with power to be the Son of God by
his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our
Lord.
Galatians 4:4-5
But when the time had fully come, God sent his
Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem
those under law, that we might receive the full
rights of sons.
I Peter 20:10-11
Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who
spoke of the grace that was to come to you,
searched intently and with the greatest care,
trying to find out the time and circumstances to
which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing
when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and
the glories that would follow.

Revenge Deuteronomy 32:35
[God says] "It is mine to avenge; I will
repay. In due time their foot will slip; their
day of disaster is near and their doom rushes
upon them."
1 Samuel 24:12
May the LORD judge between you and me. And may
the LORD avenge the wrongs you have done to me,
but my hand will not touch you.
Hebrews 10:30
For we know him who said, "It is mine to
avenge; I will repay," and again, "The
Lord will judge his people."

God
is Just Deuteronomy
32:4
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all
his ways are just. A faithful God who does no
wrong, upright and just is he.
Psalm 9:7-8
The LORD reigns forever; he has established his
throne for judgment. He will judge the world in
righteousness; he will govern the peoples with
justice.
Isaiah 3:10-13
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for
they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to
the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be
paid back for what their hands have done. .. O my
people, your guides lead you astray; they turn
you from the path. The LORD takes his place in
court; he rises to judge the people.

Code
of Justice I
Kings 8:31
"When a man wrongs his neighbor and is
required to take an oath and he comes and swears
the oath before your altar in this temple, then
hear from heaven and act. Judge between your
servants, condemning the guilty and bringing down
on his own head what he has done. Declare the
innocent not guilty, and so establish his
innocence."
Proverbs 16:2
All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but
motives are weighed by the LORD.
Ecclesiastes 12:14

serve God and those who do not.

work impartially, live your lives as strangers
here in reverent fear.

God
Punishes the Wicked Proverbs 24:12
If you say, "But we knew nothing about
this," does not he who weighs the heart
perceive it? Does not he who guards your life
know it? Will he not repay each person according
to what he has done?
Romans 1:19-20
"since what may be known about God is plain
to them, because God has made it plain to them.
For since the creation of the world God's
invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine
nature--have been clearly seen, being understood
from what has been made, so that men are without
excuse.
Colossians 3:25
Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his
wrong, and there is no favoritism.
Matthew13:41-42
The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they
will weed out of his kingdom everything that
causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw
them into the fiery furnace, where there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Harrm Genesis 42:38

journey you are taking, you will bring my gray
head down to the grave in sorrow."
2 Kings 8:12
"Why is my lord weeping?" asked Hazael.
"Because I know the harm you will do to the

the ground, and rip open their pregnant
women."

is the fulfillment of the law.

harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has
done.
2 Peter 2:13a
They will be paid back with harm for the harm
they have done...
